Day 01:  Arrival in Leh

A thrilling early morning flight to Leh, the crisp air of Leh when you disembark from the airplane welcomes you to this unpolluted Himalayan destination. You will be welcomed and escorted to our hotel where room has been booked for your ready occupancy. A little briefing on the day’s program and a

breakfast, you are advised to rest for the first half of the day. After lunch we will go for an easy and relaxed orientation drive of Leh market.
Overnight in the hotel.
Day 02:  Leh

AM: Excursion to Stok Palace
PM: Excursion to Sankar Gompa & Shanti Stupa

Morning Excursion of Stok, Stok Palace Museum which is about 12 kms from Leh across Indus River. It houses some old statues and other equipment. Matho is about 6 kms from Stok

and houses some incredible statues and paintings.

Later we drive back to hotel on time for lunch in the afternoon, sightseeing tour visiting the Sanker Gompa, which is towards the north of the Town, it has an impressive). Later visit Shanti Stupa, The Japanese for World Peace built the Shanti Stupa, at Changspa, on the hilltop, and was inaugurated by Dalai Lama in 1985. Its state of the art work attracts a lot of tourists to Ladakh and is spectacular to watch. From there one can see the nice spectacular view of Leh town.

Day 03:  Leh

Excursion to Shey, Thiksey, Hemis
Today we proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. We start with a visit to Shey the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue.

Then we visit Thiksey Gompa an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Drive further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyal.
Hemis is one of the largest and richest Gompa of Ladakh. The two-day festival of monastic dance in June-July has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha and responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world.
Later in the evening we drive back to hotel.

Day 04:  Leh – Pangong Tso

After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and

from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.
Evening at leisure and stroll near the lake and overnight stay at the Camp / Guest house.

 
Day 05:  Pangong Tso – Leh

Post breakfast visit the lake and after spending some time we drive back to Leh. Upon arrival we check in at our pre-arranged hotel.
Evening at leisure, in the late afternoon drive back to Leh.

Day 06:  Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 kms)

In the morning leave for Chumathang stop, this is famous for medical hot spring and people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive will take you to Maha Bridge the main checking point to enter to this new area. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to

Tsomoriri. The Tsomoriri Lake is the breeding ground for numerous species of birds, like the bar headed goose, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy Sheldrake) and the brown-headed gull. The Tsomoriri Lake is 8 kms wide and 28 kms long. Spend the night there in the tent.
Day 07:  Tsomoriri – Tsokar

In the morning visit Korzok village and visit around the lake. Later drive to Mahe village. The village is famous for the scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. Drive to Puga valley, which is famous for Butan gas. Later we drive to Tsokar. Have dinner and spend the night in the tent.

 
Day 08:  Tsomoriri - Korzok - Puga - Tsokar - Tanglang - Leh

Post breakfast visit Tsokar, which is at an altitude of 4090 mts. You can also visit Thugke Gompa. Later we drive towards Leh via Tanglang pass, which is at a height of 5350 mts and is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Upon arrival at Leh we check in at our pre-arranged hotel for two night’s. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

 
Day 09:  Leh

Complete day at leisure for own activities (No Transport provided).
Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

 
Day 10:  Depart Leh

In the morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
